What exactly does the 95%+ deliverability guarantee mean?

Our 95%+ deliverability guarantee means that at least 95 out of every 100 email addresses you purchase will successfully deliver to the recipient's inbox. This is measured by soft bounces (temporary delivery failures) and hard bounces (permanent undeliverable addresses). The guarantee assumes you follow email best practices including proper authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), CAN-SPAM compliance, and sending to engaged audiences. Bounces due to recipient spam filtering or overly aggressive sending practices may not count toward the guarantee.

Can I get a refund if I don't like the data quality?

Refunds are based on measurable deliverability performance (actual bounce rates), not subjective preference. If your bounce rate is below 95%, we will investigate and provide resolution. However, if your data performs within our guarantee, we cannot issue refunds simply because you expected different results. We recommend testing a small sample of our data before purchasing large volumes.

What's the deadline for submitting a refund claim?

You must submit your refund claim within 30 days of your purchase date. This window gives you time to import the data, validate it with your email service provider, and test a campaign. Claims submitted after 30 days cannot be processed. If you're close to the deadline, email us immediately to preserve your claim while we gather documentation.

Do I have to choose replacement data or can I always get a refund?

While replacement data and account credit are our preferred resolutions, you can request a cash refund if your claim is approved. However, refunds are subject to a 2-3% payment processor fee (depending on your original payment method). Replacement data and credits provide better value with no fees and often include bonus records, so we encourage those options. The choice is yours.

What bounce report format do you accept?

We accept bounce reports in CSV, Excel, or PDF format from reputable email service providers including Mailchimp, HubSpot, SendGrid, ConvertKit, ActiveCampaign, Klaviyo, and others. The report should include email addresses, bounce classification (hard/soft), bounce reason, and timestamp. If your ESP doesn't generate automated bounce reports, you can manually compile a spreadsheet of bounced addresses and we'll review it, though this may take slightly longer to validate.

What if I think the bounce report is incorrect?

We trust the bounce reports from established ESPs, as they have industry-standard bounce detection. However, if you believe there's an error, you can request our Technical Team review specific records. We may re-test certain email addresses against our validation system and cross-reference with your sender reputation. If we discover the ESP report was inaccurate, we'll adjust our assessment accordingly. All disputes are handled professionally and transparently.

If my refund is approved, how long does payment take?

Once you accept your resolution (refund, replacement, or credit), processing is immediate. For cash refunds, the funds are credited back to your original payment method within 5-7 business days, depending on your bank or payment processor. Replacement records are delivered within 24 hours. Account credits are available immediately and can be applied to your next purchase.

Can I get a refund for a custom-built email list?

Custom-built email lists are non-refundable after delivery. When you request a custom database built to specific criteria, specifications, or filters, this is considered a final delivery upon your approval. If you have concerns about custom data quality before final delivery, we can make adjustments during the build process. Always review and approve a sample before committing to the full custom build.
