Do I own the email addresses I purchase?
Yes, you own the individual email addresses and data you download from us. However, you do not own or have rights to our database compilation, selection methodology, or organizational structure. Your purchase grants a limited license to use the data for authorized B2B marketing purposes, but you may not resell the entire database or compilation as your own product.
Am I required to comply with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CASL?
Yes. All customers must comply with applicable regulations including the CAN-SPAM Act (US), GDPR (EU), and CASL (Canada). These laws are your responsibility to follow. CAN-SPAM requires accurate sender information, clear ads identification, honor for opt-outs, and valid physical addresses. GDPR requires lawful basis for processing. CASL requires consent or established relationships. Violations are your responsibility, not ours.
Can I resell the email lists to my clients?
No. Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing our email databases without written authorization violates these terms. Your purchase is a license for your internal business use only. If you require a reseller license or bulk licensing for your agency, contact our sales team at sales@getemaildatabase.com to discuss partnership opportunities.
What happens if my emails bounce above 5%?
Our 95%+ deliverability guarantee means we promise at least 95% of addresses will not bounce. If you experience bounce rates above 5%, we will provide replacement email addresses at no charge upon documentation of proper authentication setup. If you remain unsatisfied, we offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase. Contact support@getemaildatabase.com with bounce reports to claim replacements.
Are there any hidden fees or subscription charges?
No. All pricing is one-time, transparent, and displayed before checkout. We do not offer subscriptions, recurring billing, or auto-renewal services. What you see in our pricing is what you pay, including all taxes and fees. There are no hidden charges or surprise renewals.
What happens if my account is terminated?
If your account is terminated for violating these terms (spam, unauthorized resale, illegal use, etc.), your access to our platform and services will be revoked. However, you retain the right to use any email data you have already legitimately purchased, provided you comply with all applicable laws going forward. You will not be eligible for refunds, and future account creation may be denied.
Who is responsible for compliance with email laws?
You are fully responsible for ensuring your email campaigns comply with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL, and all other applicable laws. Get Email Database is not responsible for your compliance. We provide legitimate B2B email lists, but how you use them is your responsibility. If recipients file complaints or legal action against you, that is your obligation to defend against.
Can I use the databases for B2C (consumer) marketing?
Our databases are designed exclusively for B2B marketing to business professionals and decision-makers. Using our business databases for B2C consumer marketing may violate these terms and applicable consumer protection laws. Our terms specifically require B2B marketing use only. For consumer lists, you would need to use different data sources designed for B2C purposes.
